Secondary Schools

Within the locality the majority of pupils will continue their (state) secondary education at Breadalbane Academy, or Pitlochry High School. As Pitlochry High School only provides education up to S4.  It is important to remember that that all schools are unique and operate in different circumstances depending on their catchment area.  Schools should therefore not be compared directly against each other.  School level data on attainment and attendance is provided by Education Scotland on their Parentzone site for Breadalbane Academy and Pitlochry High School.

Adult Learning and education

Highland Perthshire Crossing Borders Project  aims to benefit both the settled and in particular the migrant communities in the Highland Perthshire Area, by providing support services to individuals and families and   Advancing education; The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. Advancing citizenship, community development and human rights; and  Promoting racial harmony, equality and diversity

Pitlochry and District Adult Education Association  has provided recreational classes, skills learning and engaging social opportunities since it was formed in the mid 1980s.Run by a dedicated group of volunteers its ethos is to provide a program of seasonally set courses that engage and reward those taking part. Day and evening classes provide learners the chance to learn new skills in astronomy, drawing, art and crafts, cooking, sewing, fabric and clothing making and furniture restoration.
